This rant! is dedicated to the Media for their absolute
butchery of what should have been the greatest premeire that this century has ever
seen. Instead of a truly fantastic premeire week, all we had were the news
broadcasters yammering about how the fans were waiting in line for day's, even
weeks before the tickets went on sale. Not to mention the fact that all the
"hype" came from those same broadcasters. Then they have the unnerving
gaul to say that SW:E1-TPM didn't live up to the "hype" that they
created. Lucas tried to do it right. Keep it under as many wraps as possible,
throw out a teaser trailer here and there, and let the fans speak for the movie.
But, no. The Media had to get into it and nearly ruined it for us the fans, the
only people that Mr. Lucas has ever tried to please. Even through it all we still
have the first new SW movie in 16 years, and quite honestly, it RULES!

Much raves! and kudos to George Lucas for the creation
of yet another gem of a movie. SW:E1-TPM was increadible. The visual's were
fabulous and the story was strong. Most of the characters are in a developmental
stage but still compelling. The casting was done with intelligence, a good
combination of known and unknown actors. Even still, most of the known actors
are in the early stages of their careers. The entire movie integrated itself
flawlessly into the Star Wars universe and within itself. The real and virtual
halves of the worlds were seamless.
